Sports Roses Shipping Policy

All Sports Roses are handmade in the USA and our production time will vary based on current demand. We post our Current Production Time on the right side of our online store. This is the time needed for us to prepare your roses before they are shipped. Please allow additional time for delivery based on shipping method selected. Orders that include more than 6 Sports Roses or using the Economy Shipping method may take longer to prepare and ship than than posted production time quoted on our website. We reserve the right to change the quoted delivery date on your order based on product availability.

To quote a Delivery Date for your order, click on the "Determine shipping and sales tax" or "Calculate Shipping" link found in the shopping cart section of our store (just beneath the order total). You will be given a list of shipping options and have an option to choose a preferred delivery date for each option. The earliest quoted delivery dates for each shipping method only applies to orders of 6 roses or less. Larger orders may take longer. We will follow up by email within 1 business day if your order will take longer than initially quoted.

Economy Shipping and USPS Priority Mail are not guaranteed shipping services and are excluded from our money-back shipping guarantee (see below). Economy Shipping orders will arrive approximately 2 weeks after your order is placed. Economy Shipping orders may take longer to ship than the current production time posted on our website since FedEx, USPS Priority, and Rush Order shipping methods are given a higher priority status. We are unable to offer any refunds or credits on orders that experience unexpected shipping delays caused by the post office.

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number and order details. Once we ship out your order, we will send out a second email with your tracking number. You can click on the tracking number to get the scheduled arrival date of your order (tracking details may not be available during the first 24 hours). If you choose a FedEx/UPS shipping method, FedEx/UPS will also send a delivery notification email once your package has been delivered.

Please make sure to verify the shipping address listed in your order confirmation email. This is the address we will ship your package to. We are not responsible for additional shipping charges, lost packages, or shipping delays as a result of an incorrect or invalid address being provided. FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. Please call or email us within 1 business day of placing your order to make any changes to your shipping address. Once your order has been shipped we will be unable to make any changes to your package while in transit.

Scheduled Delivery Date Terms and Conditions

Scheduling a delivery date allows you to request a specific day to have your order delivered on.

It is important to review the following terms and conditions:

  • Your scheduled delivery date will only be Guaranteed when you choose a FedEx/UPS delivery service. Economy shipping does not offer a guaranteed delivery date
  • We recommend choosing a delivery date that is 1 business day before you need your order just in case their are unexpected delays in delivery by FedEx/UPS
  • FedEx/UPS may choose to deliver your package earlier than your scheduled delivery date. Unfortunately, we have no control over that situation and early delivery is excluded from our shipping guarantee.
  • FedEx Home Delivery does not deliver packages on Monday, any packages scheduled to arrive on Monday will be delivered the preceding Saturday.
  • FedEx/UPS delivers packages by the end of business day (by 5pm to businesses and by 7pm to residences)
  • FedEx/UPS do not delivery to PO Boxes. Make sure to provide a valid physical address, otherwise FedEx/UPS will hold your package for pick up at their local office.
  • We reserve the right to change your scheduled delivery date based on availability of product. We will notify you by email within 1 business day of placing your order (or if any other changes occur), if we are unable to meet your requested delivery date.
  • Large orders (6 roses or more) will take longer to create and may result in a change to your delivery date.
  • If your payment is not received when your order is placed, we will need to change your delivery date based on product availability at the time your payment is received
  • Changes made to your order after it is placed may result in a change to your delivery date

Late Package Shipping Guarantee (FedEx, UPS, and USPS Express Mail Only):
Your order will be guaranteed to arrive by the date associated with your tracking number. Please note, this date may be different from the scheduled delivery date you selected. Early arrival of your package is excluded from this shipping guarantee.

Only FedEx/UPS Priority Overnight and FedEx/UPS 2 Day A.M. offer a guaranteed arrival by a specific time of day (which varies by location). All other FedEx/UPS services only offer a guaranteed by end of business day (5pm to businesses and 7pm to residences)

To find out your guaranteed delivery date/time, follow the steps below:
  1. Once your order has been shipped, an order update email will be sent from us with your FedEx/UPS tracking number
  2. Click on the tracking number link inside that email to find out what your scheduled delivery date is (it may take up to 24 hours for the delivery date to appear in the FedEx/UPS system)
If your order does not arrive by the date and time it was guaranteed by, you can submit a shipping refund request by following the steps below:
  1. Track your package on FedEx.com or UPS.com(a link was provided in your shipping status email when your order shipped)
  2. Check your tracking details to see if a reason for the delay was added to your tracking number. An updated delivery date should also be posted if your package has not arrived yet.
  3. If the reason for the delay was due to circumstances beyond their control (ie. adverse weather conditions) we will be unable to request a refund since that is excluded from their shipping guarantee
  4. Email your shipping refund request to service@sportsroses.com and we will respond within 1 business day.
  5. Once we have received the refund from the shipping carrier (usually takes 1-2 weeks), we will credit your original payment method with the refund.

Please Note: We will only refund the actual shipping costs reimbursed by FedEx/UPS on a late delivery. Rush order handling charges are not eligible for a refund when the cause of the delay is due to a FedEx/UPS handling. The rush order portion of the shipping and handling fee is used to expedite your shipment from our workshop.

We will not refund any shipping charges if the shipping carrier denies our claim request due to exclusions in their guarantee policy. Our shipment guarantee is based on the shipping carriers' guarantee. We are just acting on your behalf to request the refund since only the shipper is able to submit the refund request to the carrier. It may take 7-14 days for us to receive a refund back from FedEx/UPS before we can credit your account. Early arrival of your package before your Scheduled Delivery date is excluded from this guarantee.
